About this artwork

This is an unsigned Open Edition print, professionally produced on enhanced matte art paper. It is not numbered or certificated.

Description

This solitary yellow armchair art print captures a moment of profound stillness within an abandoned interior. A single yellow armchair with wooden arms and a high back sits isolated on the right, its warm tone contrasting sharply with the surroundings. To the left rises a massive red wall, its upper surface smooth and vibrant while the lower section peels and cracks to expose raw plaster and concrete. A narrow dark doorway cuts through the red, offering a glimpse into deeper shadow, and the right side is filled by a cool muted grey wall that recedes into soft darkness.

The floor is a pale, stained concrete that stretches empty across the foreground, reinforcing the sense of vacancy. Soft directional light models the chair and wall textures, creating a cinematic atmosphere that feels both stark and quietly emotional. The overall mood is contemplative and atmospheric, inviting thoughts of waiting, presence and the stories left behind in empty spaces.

Placing this solitary yellow armchair art print on your wall introduces a powerful visual dialogue between colour and emptiness. The dramatic contrast of vibrant red against muted grey and the solitary warm yellow chair makes it ideal for modern interiors that value minimalist composition and emotional depth. It suits living rooms, offices or hallways where a touch of narrative mystery is welcome.

Each framed open edition is printed to order on 200gsm Enhanced Matte Art paper and fitted in a classic frame with a shatterproof acrylic glaze, ready to hang. Whether you are drawn to themes of solitude or simply love bold colour fields paired with a single human-scale object, this solitary yellow armchair art print offers a calm yet compelling presence. Care

Caring for your print

  • Keep it out of direct sunlight. Strong sun fades any print over time, so pick a wall that doesn't get it all day.
  • Avoid damp and steam. Bathrooms and spots right above radiators or kettles can make paper ripple and canvas slacken.
  • Handle unframed prints by the edges, ideally with clean, dry hands. Store them flat or loosely rolled, never folded.
  • Dust frames and glazing gently with a soft, dry cloth. Don't spray cleaner straight onto the acrylic, and avoid paper towels, which can scratch it.
  • Dust canvases lightly with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Don't use water or cleaning products on the printed surface.
  • Unframed prints are standard A sizes, so they fit off-the-shelf A4, A3 and A2 frames.
