About this artwork
This artwork was AI-generated using Midjourney and selected by digital artist Tim Pearson.
This is an unsigned Open Edition print, professionally produced on enhanced matte art paper. It is not numbered or certificated.
Description
The black cat figure desolate landscape postcard centres on a tall, dark form with pointed ears and pale eyes, standing motionless on cracked stone beside two small spheres. Bare twisted trees drip with hanging tendrils while a pale sky holds a scatter of birds. A winding track leads toward weathered wooden houses on a rise, their roofs and a small turret half-lost in mist, with a faint city outline beyond.
Tim Pearson’s composition creates a strong sense of solitude and quiet watching. The figure’s long textured coat merges with the gloom of the hollow field, its stillness set against the emptiness of the surrounding terrain. Dark greys and muted browns dominate, supporting the melancholic, mysterious and slightly eerie mood that defines the scene.
Printed on both sides on Mohawk Superfine 324gsm matte card, this fine art postcard measures 7 x 5 inches. The back has room for a message, an address and a stamp, plus the artwork title and a small QR code linking to the full-size print.

Care
Caring for your print
- Keep it out of direct sunlight. Strong sun fades any print over time, so pick a wall that doesn't get it all day.
- Avoid damp and steam. Bathrooms and spots right above radiators or kettles can make paper ripple and canvas slacken.
- Handle unframed prints by the edges, ideally with clean, dry hands. Store them flat or loosely rolled, never folded.
- Dust frames and glazing gently with a soft, dry cloth. Don't spray cleaner straight onto the acrylic, and avoid paper towels, which can scratch it.
- Dust canvases lightly with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Don't use water or cleaning products on the printed surface.
- Unframed prints are standard A sizes, so they fit off-the-shelf A4, A3 and A2 frames.
